MultiChannel Dispense Heads
The creation of innovative designs coupled with the use of new materials has given NanoScreen the ability to develop a family of high performance, high reliability 96, 384, and 1536 channel pipetting heads which include:
- Solid titanium mandrels for long life and reliability
- Gold plated cylinder blocks for enhanced corrosion resistance
- Septum piercing heads with coaxial needles that allow pipetting of compounds while maintaining a protective gas layer
- Roll lapped pistons and a field proven seal design for a long life of precision and accuracy
With the introduction of the 1536 channel pipetting head, NanoScreen has achieved a success that no other company has been able to accomplish to date. Using this head with disposable pipette tips will decrease the amount of cross contamination and carryover problems while greatly increasing the efficiency. Not only will quality and reliability of the data be drastically improved, but with the increase in efficiency comes a decrease in cost.
