NanoScreen Expands It's Line of Liquid Handling Automation

CHARLESTON, SC - December 10, 2008 - NanoScreen, LLC, a global industry innovator in fluid dispensing products announced the release of the "Stretched" Libra™ Liquid Handling Workstation. The "Stretched" Libra will be released at Lab Automation, Palm Springs on January 25th 2009

The Stretched Libra™, offers an extended work envelope, increasing the flexibility and functionality of this robust liquid handling platform. The Stretched Libra is available with the same range of dispense heads as the smaller, Libra system, able to utilize standard 96 and 384 heads in addition to NanoScreen's unique 1536 channel dispense head and NanoScreen's 96 channel Septum piercing head. This system will extend NanoScreen's portfolio of industrial grade automation offering reliability with an open access software interface. "Introducing the Stretched Libra™ provides cutting edge liquid handling capabilities, in a larger format while maintaining an affordable price point", said Daniel Dechert, NanoScreen's Chief Executive Officer.
