96 and 384 Head Repair

Dispense heads wear down, get damaged, and break. Simple everyday usage will require all heads to be periodically removed from their robot and sent back to the manufacturer for refurbishment. This typically involves nothing more than a thorough cleaning and a replacement of the seals. However, harsh conditions in the lab, such as volatile chemicals, persistent fluid contamination, or mechanical crashes, can lead to corrosion, pitting, clogging, and bent or broken components: Requiring more than just the standard periodic maintenance service.

With each head repair, you will receive a performance validation certificate, a summary of the repair report, and all of the original components for your inspection.

Our service is not limited to just repairs. Should you wish, we can replace those aluminum or plastic mandrels with Titanium, reconfigure the seal design for greater robustness, or even change the mandrel profile to allow for the use of alternate pipette tips.
